Kitchen Crew (Full / Part Time)

SHOKUAI PTE. LTD. is hiring for Kyoto Onimaru, a new F&B concept at Hougang Mall that specializes in authentic Japanese-style onigiri. This role is available as both Full Time and Part Time.

Key Responsibilities

The crew is responsible for both food production and front-of-house service:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare authentic onigiri and other menu items according to established recipes.

  • Cashiering: Handle customer payments, issue receipts, and manage the point-of-sale system.

  • Hygiene & Safety: Maintain the shop’s cleanliness and food hygiene standards in strict accordance with SFA regulations.

  • Operations: Assist with ad-hoc duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required Qualifications & Traits

  • Certification: Must possess a minimum of WSQ Food Safety Course (FSC) Level 1.

  • Availability: Must be willing to work a rotating schedule that includes shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Resilience: Able to handle stress and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while following all operating procedures.

Experience Needed

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in the F&B industry.

Salary & Benefits

  • Full-Time Salary: $2,600 – $3,000 per month.

  • Part-Time Rate: $13.50 – $16.00 per hour.
