The Muslim Missionary Society, Singapore (Jamiyah Singapore) is seeking a Care Associate to join their Senior Care Centre (SCC) in West Coast. This role is deeply rooted in Islamic values of compassion and community service, providing essential support to seniors in a multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves a mix of basic nursing care and therapeutic support to ensure the well-being of clients:

Basic Care & Hygiene: Perform essential functions including bathing, oral feeding, changing diapers, laundry, and assisting with client transfers using proper lifting techniques.

Therapeutic Support: Assist Registered Therapists by providing therapeutic interventions and simple exercises as specified in prescription sheets.

Medical Observation: Monitor patients for abnormalities in skin condition, behavior, or general outlook and report findings to the nursing staff.

Home & Community Care: Visit households to provide simple exercises and escort clients as needed.

Administrative Support: Assist with inventory management, stock supplies, answering calls, and maintaining records of services performed.
Required Qualifications & Experience

Education: Minimum PSLE or ‘N’ Levels with a relevant ITE certification.

Certification: Must hold a WSQ or HMI (Healthcare Support) certificate. Knowledge in CPR is considered a significant advantage.

Experience: Requires at least 1 year of relevant experience in healthcare or elderly care.

Attributes: A good team player who is physically capable of handling patient transfers and is comfortable working independently.
Working Hours & Location

Location: Based in West Coast.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays (half-day).
