NTUC FAIRPRICE CO-OPERATIVE LTD is seeking dedicated Full-Time Packers for their Halal poultry and seafood section at the Fresh Food Distribution Centre in Jurong. This role is vital for processing and preparing essential fresh proteins for FairPrice outlets across the island.
š Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the preparation and packaging of fresh seafood and poultry products within a temperature-controlled environment:

Production Support: Prepare frozen chicken parts for the thawing process and manage the systematic packing and arrangement of fish, seafood, and chicken.

Machine Operations: Operate specialized packing and labeling machinery to ensure products are retail-ready.

Quality & Safety: Perform rigorous quality checks on both raw materials and finished goods. You must strictly adhere to safety procedures, hygiene standards, and house rules such as GMP/GHP.

Housekeeping: Maintain the cleanliness and order of the production area in accordance with company standards.
š Job Requirements

Experience: No experience is required as training is provided, though candidates with prior experience in food processing plants are preferred.

Certifications: WSQ Food Hygiene Course graduates and those with ESS WPLN Level 4 are highly welcome to apply.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

Ability to work in a wet and chilled environment (4Ā°C to 10Ā°C). Coldwear will be provided.

Capability to lift heavy loads of up to 12kg.

Attributes: A team player who is attentive to detail and can read product labels in simple English.

Commitment: Willingness to work a 6-day week, including weekends and Public Holidays.

Schedule: 6 days per week with rotating shifts.

Shifts: 7:00 AM ā 3:20 PM & 8:00 AM ā 4:20 PM.
