Operations Support Assistant

A full time job opportunity is available at Vanguard Healthcare PTE. LTD. in Singapore. The candidate will perform the duties of an operations support assistant. There are multiple vacancies for this on-site non-executive job position located at the Woodlands Care Home or within the Hougang Area. The selected candidate will get a salary of $2,000 to $3,000 on a monthly basis. There is a requirement for a Diploma, or Good O-Levels/Higher NITEC qualifications with relevant experience. The last date to apply for this position is March 27, 2026.

Key responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in non-clinical support operations to manage the Care Home facilities. They will support the Centre Manager and Operations Support Executive to ensure the smooth delivery of daily operational, logistics, maintenance, safety, and security activities. They will assist in managing outsourced vendors, facility assistants, and appointed maintenance contractors. The candidate will ensure the proper upkeep of administrative records for food provision, laundry services, equipment maintenance, and fire safety. They will adhere to procurement protocols, enter invoices for claims, and assist in collating monthly duty rosters and operational statistics.

Required qualifications

The candidate is required to have a Diploma. Candidates with Good O-Levels or Higher NITEC qualifications can be considered if previously equipped with sufficient relevant operations experience. They should be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office. They must possess solid knowledge of security operations, fire safety, and workplace health and safety requirements to ensure full compliance with national standards.

Experience needed

This is a non-executive level position. The candidate should have about 1 to 2 years of working experience. Candidates applying with O-Levels or Higher NITEC must have more than 2 years of relevant operations experience performing similar functions. A strong background in healthcare operations, facilities management, workplace safety, or fire safety is highly preferred and will be considered a significant asset. On the job guidance regarding the specific Care Home protocols will be provided.

Skills and competencies

The candidate should be meticulous with a strong eye for detail. They should have the ability to troubleshoot basic M&E systems and perform simple maintenance tasks. The candidate should have good communication skills to work effectively with staff and outsourced vendors. They must demonstrate resilience in dealing with workplace adversity in a start-up environment. They should be able to follow strict operational instructions carefully and maintain a professional attitude at work.
