Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping activities across guest floors, public areas, the uniform/linen room, and laundry. Key duties include conducting daily briefings with the Assistant Housekeeper and leading weekly supervisor meetings. You will ensure the safe keeping of master keys and lost & found items, and handle guest complaints by implementing preventive systems. The role also involves coordinating closely with the Front Office and Maintenance departments for room programming, overseeing pest control schedules, and ensuring hotel grounds are meticulously maintained. Additionally, you will assist in preparing the annual department budget and managing contract renewals for housekeeping services.
Required Qualification
The candidate should possess at least a Diploma level qualification or equivalent. You must be an independent worker who also functions effectively as a team player in a high-pressure environment. The candidate should have strong leadership skills to empower Housekeeping Supervisors and ensure all rooms meet the hotel’s legendary standards of excellence. Proficiency in staff evaluation and performance tracking is essential, as you will be responsible for interviewing and selecting new candidates for the department.
Experience Needed
The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Assistant Executive Housekeeper Jobs Singapore or senior housekeeping management. Experience in heritage hotel settings or luxury properties is highly advantageous. The company is looking for someone with a proven track record of managing large-scale inventory for Rooms and F&B linen, as well as experience acting as a fire warden leader for guest room areas.
