Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a healthy and hygienic environment for young children.
For the Cook role: Key duties include preparing nutritious meals and serving them to children. You will be tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and dining areas, washing and folding face towels, and sweeping and mopping the kitchen. Additionally, you will assist in ordering rations and ensuring the water supply in classrooms is replenished.
For the Cleaner role: Key duties involve cleaning classrooms, toilets, common areas, offices, and reception areas. You will be responsible for sanitizing toys, children’s mattresses, and furniture, as well as clearing rubbish. The role also includes helping maintain the garden (where applicable) and assisting with showering the children in the morning or washing dishes in the afternoon.
Required Qualification
The candidate should have a genuine passion for working in a childcare environment and a commitment to high standards of hygiene and safety. You must be reliable, punctual, and able to perform physical tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and lifting light equipment. The candidate should be a compassionate individual who is comfortable assisting children if they soil themselves and helping with their basic needs. A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team are essential.
Experience Needed
The candidate should ideally have at least 3 years of professional experience in Cook and Cleaner Jobs Singapore, particularly in school canteens, childcare centers, or healthcare facilities. For the Cook position, familiarity with child-safe food preparation and nutrition is highly preferred. For the Cleaner position, experience with industrial cleaning standards and sanitation protocols is a significant advantage.
