Job Overview

Smarte Carte Singapore Pte. Ltd. is hiring a vigilant, safety-conscious, and physically fit Airport Service Officer (Trolley) to support ground operations at Changi Airport Terminal 1. Operating on a 6-day work week with fixed shift schedules, this role is critical in ensuring smooth passenger flow by tracking, gathering, and replenishing baggage trolleys across key passenger staging terminals and transit concourses.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned terminal zones, baggage reclaim belts, and taxi stands to locate abandoned and unused trolleys left by travelers.
• Collect, neatly stack, and retrieve luggage trolleys systematically using designated gathering procedures.
• Transport and steer nested trolleys safely using motorized lightweight transport machinery or manual methods.
• Exercise extreme caution while maneuvering trolley trains around passenger walkways, waiting chairs, terminal architecture, and glass fixtures.
• Maintain mandatory minimum trolley buffer counts at all designated Trolley Staging Points across the assigned operational zone.
• Assist passengers with general directions and courtesy inquiries when approached on the terminal floor.
• Adhere strictly to Changi Airport ground safety regulations and operational equipment guidelines.

Shift Patterns & Working Schedule

• 6-day work week on a fixed shift arrangement (candidates may indicate preferred shift):
  • Shift 1 (Morning): 6:30 AM – 2:50 PM
  • Shift 2 (Afternoon): 2:10 PM – 10:30 PM
  • Shift 3 (Night): 10:20 PM – 6:40 AM
• Location: Changi Airport Terminal 1, 80 Airport Boulevard, Singapore 819642.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant working experience in customer service, ground handling, airport operations, or equipment driving.
• Must possess a valid Singapore driving license (Class 2 / Class 3) or heavy machinery permits (such as a Forklift Operating License).
• Prior experience operating motorized towing or baggage transportation machinery with an emphasis on safety is preferred.
• Basic proficiency in written and spoken English for operational communications.
• Good eyesight and normal color vision.
• Physically fit with the stamina and coordination required to push, maneuver, and handle equipment loads continuously.
• Positive mindset, dependable work ethic, and willingness to learn standard airport operating procedures.
