Job Overview

Artist Avenue LLP, a creative studio dedicated to artistic exploration and visual arts enrichment, is seeking passionate, enthusiastic Full-Time and Part-Time Art Teachers to join its vibrant studio at Thomson Ridge on Upper Thomson Road. In this role, you will inspire students across varying ages and skill levels, leading dynamic art classes, specialized workshops, birthday celebrations, and studio events across diverse artistic mediums.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging art lessons, creative workshops, private birthday parties, and festive studio events.
• Prepare instructional materials, setup stations, and contribute innovative ideas toward new art projects and curriculum modules.
• Instruct students in diverse mediums, including drawing, sketching, acrylic/oil painting, mixed media, clay modeling, crafts, and 3D art.
• Nurture student creativity and individual artistic expression while maintaining Artist Avenue's high pedagogical standards.
• Provide thoughtful, constructive feedback to parents on their children's artistic milestones and learning development.
• Maintain art studio supplies, assist with physical inventory counts, and track stock replenishment.
• Ensure the studio remains pristine, organized, and welcoming, including the regular upkeep and sanitization of the studio space and private washroom.
• Support general studio administrative duties, student attendance tracking, and event setup/teardown.

Working Arrangements & Flexibility

• Full-Time: 5-day work week (including both weekends, with two designated weekdays off). Flexible work arrangements include Flexi-Hours and Employees Choice of Days Off.
• Part-Time: Flexible scheduling suitable for art students, fresh graduates, and emerging artists with strong portfolios.
• Location: Thomson Ridge, 237 Upper Thomson Road, Singapore 574368 (Upper Thomson MRT vicinity).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, Design, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience is preferred; emerging artists and candidates with strong personal art portfolios and high comfort working with children are warmly welcome (training provided).
• Proficient across various artistic mediums (drawing, painting, clay, mixed media, crafts).
• Strong classroom management skills, patience, and warmth when interacting with young learners and parents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative team spirit.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of multitasking effectively in an active studio environment.
