🐶 Pet Shop Assistant / Assistant Groomer
Art of Pets Grooming School Pte. Ltd. is looking for passionate individuals to join Singapore’s longest-running grooming school at Siglap Drive. This role is a unique opportunity to be mentored by a Master Groomer while gaining hands-on experience in animal care.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves supporting the grooming process and maintaining high standards of care for the animals:
Grooming Assistance: Support the Head Groomer by bathing, drying, and prepping dogs for their grooming sessions.
Animal Care: Clean kennels and provide attentive care to dogs and puppies during their stay.
Maintenance: Maintain hygiene by cleaning grooming equipment, the specialized grooming area, and the general premises.
Salary & Career Progression
The company offers a structured salary path that increases as you gain experience and complete training milestones:
Full-Time (6 Days a Week)
Experienced (1+ Year): $2,000 – $2,400 per month.
No Experience Training Path:
Months 1–3: $1,400.
Month 4: $1,600.
Month 6: $1,800.
Month 12: $2,000.
Part-Time (3 Days a Week: Fri, Sat, Sun)
Experienced: $90 per day.
No Experience: $70 per day for the first 3 months, increasing to $80 per day thereafter.
Job Requirements
Commitment: Must be a hardworking, honest worker with a deep love for dogs.
Education & Experience: Open to those with no prior experience as on-the-job training is provided.
Availability: Must be able to commit to 3 days (Part-Time) or 6 days (Full-Time).
