PULLMAN SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is looking for Bakery Cafe Sales Assistants to join their premium outlets at several prime locations. This role offers a unique blend of hospitality, retail sales, and technical barista skills within a high-end bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires a proactive approach to both front-of-house service and backend operational support:
Customer Service & Sales: Deliver excellent service to walk-in guests, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving retail sales through product recommendations.
Cashiering & POS: Accurately perform cashiering duties and handle financial transactions using modern point-of-sale systems.
Visual Merchandising & Housekeeping: Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the bakery through effective product displays and ensure the café remains clean and inviting.
Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring stock levels and pricing to ensure a smooth flow of goods.
Barista Duties: Upon completion of provided training, assist in the preparation of specialty coffee and beverages.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience: Open to Fresh/Entry Level candidates, though 1 year of experience in F&B or Retail is preferred.
Skills: Must be bilingual with the ability to speak and write simple English.
Technical Training: No prior coffee knowledge required—both basic and barista training will be provided.
Attributes: Able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess a positive work attitude.
Eligibility: Singaporeans and PRs only are preferred.
Working Hours & Locations
Schedule: Must be able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays.
Workplace Locations: Multiple convenient sites including Millenia Walk, Tanjong Pagar, Jurong East, and Bedok Chai Chee.
Salary & Details
Full-Time Salary: Up to $2,800/month (depending on experience).
Part-Time Rate: $11 to $14/hour (requires a minimum of 4 days/week commitment).
