Key responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, strictly according to standard recipes. They will actively interact with customers, take orders, recommend drinks, and ensure an excellent overall guest experience. The candidate will responsibly verify customers’ identification to ensure strict compliance with legal drinking age requirements. They will safely handle payments, maintain highly accurate sales records, and balance cash receipts. The candidate will also plan and present bar menus, restock inventory, meticulously maintain the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment, and ensure compliance with all quality standards and government regulations (including NEA, AVA, and SCDF).
Required qualifications
The candidate is not required to have any formal higher education degree. They should be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The candidate must be physically capable of standing for 8-hour shifts and carrying at least 10kg of inventory safely. They must be fully capable of commuting to the Centrepoint location and be highly adaptable to committing to rotating shifts.
Experience needed
This is a fresh and entry-level position in the F&B sector. While the listing mentions 2 years of experience, prior working experience specifically in bartending will be considered a strong added advantage.
