Offering a monthly salary ranging from $2,600 to $3,200 on a full-time non-executive basis, this role involves breaking down whole meats (beef, pork, lamb, poultry, and fish) into precise culinary cuts, ensuring strict food hygiene and safety standards, and supporting kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Break down whole carcasses and cuts of beef, pork, lamb, poultry, and fish into usable, kitchen-ready portions.
- Trim, bone, portion, and prepare various meats precisely according to chef specifications and daily menu requirements.
Ensure all meat products are handled, processed, and stored in strict compliance with NEA food safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor the quality, freshness, and temperature of meat inventories, promptly reporting any spoilage or quality concerns.
Clean, sanitize, and maintain the butchery station, knives, band saws, grinders, and equipment to meet health code standards.
Perform any other ad-hoc kitchen duties as assigned by the company.
