Job Overview
Smarte Carte Singapore Pte. Ltd. is hiring a vigilant, proactive, and operationally minded CCTV Monitoring Officer based at Changi Airport Terminal 1. Operating out of the Terminal Management Centre (TMC), this full-time role oversees real-time airport ground operations across all passenger terminals, managing surveillance monitoring, baggage trolley logistics, taxi queue coordination, porter service dispatches, and incident footage extraction.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live ground situations and passenger flows at key touchpoints across all Changi Airport terminals via CCTV in accordance with strict standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Process porter service bookings and liaise with Operations Supervisors to guarantee timely service fulfillment.
- Oversee baggage trolley logistics via monitoring systems, conducting regular checks and dispatching ground teams to replenish or clear trolleys to maintain required Changi Airport Group (CAG) service levels.
- Manage taxi queue operations by tracking passenger demand and queue lengths, actively calling taxi operators to boost cab supplies during peak surges, and ensuring Terminal Management System (TMS) accuracy.
- Serve as operational liaison between Duty Managers, Duty Terminal Managers, and TMC Operations Cells during irregularities, flight delays, or emergency ground situations.
- Extract and archive CCTV surveillance footage to support Terminal Managers and Duty Managers with security, safety, and incident/accident investigations.
- Generate periodic operational and service utilization reports, and assist with quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide operational cross-coverage for Operations Supervisors and Duty Managers when required.
Working Hours & Roster Pattern
- Work Schedule: 12-hour shift pattern (Work 4 days, Off 3 days).
- Requires rotating day/night shift commitments according to airport operational requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Recognized Diploma in Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant supervisory or coordination experience in quality, operations, or surveillance control room environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and operational monitoring software.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills within a control room setting.
- Must be eligible and cleared to obtain an official Changi Airport Airside Pass.
- Adaptable, alert, and capable of decisive action during high-tempo airport operations.
