Job Overview

MY World Preschool Ltd., a prominent early childhood education provider in Singapore, is hiring dedicated, caring, and attentive Cleaners to support daily school operations across its preschool centres islandwide. This full-time role plays an integral part in maintaining high hygiene and sanitization standards while supporting educators with children's daily care routines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist preschool teachers in bathing and freshening up young children safely.
• Serve nutritious meals and snacks to children during scheduled breakfast, lunch, and tea times.
• Clean and sanitize administrative offices, staff rooms, children's toilets, and washrooms throughout the day.
• Sweep, mop, and disinfect classroom and common area floors after breakfast, before nap time, after lunch, and after tea time.
• Ensure floor surfaces are completely dry before allowing children to walk on them to prevent slips and falls.
• Wipe down and disinfect children's tables, chairs, windows, cubby holes, book shelves, and shoe racks regularly.
• Manage linen changes by removing mattress covers every Friday for washing and fitting clean covers every Monday morning.
• Clean up ad-hoc spills, messes, and accidents promptly to ensure a safe learning space.
• Fill the sensory water play trough every morning and drain, clean, and sanitize it each afternoon.
• Monitor and manage the prudent usage of cleaning agents, soaps, and washroom consumables within allocated budgets.
• Assist in simple food preparation and cooking in the preschool kitchen whenever required.
• Carry out additional centre support duties as assigned by the Centre Principal.

Requirements & Qualifications

• No prior cleaning or school experience required; on-the-job guidance will be provided.
• Caring, patient, and warm disposition who enjoys being in an environment with young children.
• Reliable, responsible, punctual, and hardworking with high standards of personal and environmental hygiene.
• Able to work collaboratively with teachers, cook, and centre staff.
