Key responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and supervising the cleaning team to ensure that all assigned jobs are done correctly and up to standard. They will allocate work to the team to guarantee the successful completion of projects in a timely manner. The candidate will actively teach and train new members of the team to ensure high service quality. They will ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols are fully in place and strictly adhered to by all staff. They will also handle crucial communication between the cleaning team and the Management team, oversee stock and scheduling management, and complete any other ad-hoc supervisory roles as required.
Required qualifications
The candidate is not required to have any formal higher education degree. They should be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The candidate must be fully capable of traveling islandwide to supervise various cleaning project sites and be highly adaptable to managing diverse staff schedules.
Experience needed
This is a fresh and entry-level position in the environment and health sector. However, the candidate should ideally have at least 2 years of relevant working experience. Prior experience in team leadership, training, stock management, and overseeing cleaning operations will be considered a strong asset. On the job familiarization regarding the company’s specific SOPs and management communication protocols will be provided to the selected candidates.
Skills and competencies
The candidate should possess excellent leadership and training skills to effectively guide and mentor team members. They must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to act as a reliable bridge between the ground staff and the Management team.
