Job Summary
Advent Endodontics Inc Pte. Ltd. is looking for a caring, organized, and dedicated Dental Nurse / Dental Assistant to join their dental specialist practice at Wisma Atria, Orchard Road. The candidate will support dental practitioners during clinical procedures, uphold stringent infection control standards, and deliver attentive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide active chairside assistance to dentists across various endodontic and dental clinical procedures.
- Set up treatment suites, instruments, and restorative materials prior to scheduled patient appointments.
- Sterilize, sanitize, and pack dental instruments strictly adhering to clinical infection control protocols.
- Reassure patients, ensure their comfort during consultations, and assist with post-treatment care advice.
- Take and process dental radiographs where certified and permitted.
- Maintain patient medical records, update treatment charts, and handle clinical filing accurately.
- Monitor clinical inventory levels, track supplies, and assist with ordering and restocking dental consumables.
- Maintain high standards of clinic hygiene, sterility, and compliance with national health and safety standards.
- Support front-of-house reception and clinical administrative functions as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Prior relevant experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred (fresh/entry-level applicants with relevant training welcome).
- Good understanding of dental sterilization, autoclaving, and clinical infection control procedures.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and dental practice management systems is advantageous.
- Basic computer literacy, multitasking capability, and efficient time management.
- Empathetic approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
