Key responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing routine inspections to ensure the dormitory is clean, safe, and well-maintained. They will oversee dormitory occupancy, including the check-in and check-out processes and room assignments. The candidate will ensure strict adherence to regulations set by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), National Environment Agency (NEA), Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), and other relevant authorities. They will enforce dormitory rules, resolve any issues or concerns raised by residents, and supervise teams responsible for maintenance, security, and housekeeping services. They will also complete their assigned duties by maintaining detailed records of incidents, safety inspections, and operational activities within the dormitory.
Required qualifications
The candidate is required to have a NITEC in facilities management or an equivalent educational background. They should be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The candidate must be comfortable working on-site at the dormitory facility in Tuas South. They must have good knowledge of dormitory regulations and rental agreements to ensure full operational compliance.
Experience needed
This is an executive level position. The candidate should have at least 3 years of working experience in dormitory operations, property management, and tenancy administration. Any type of prior experience in customer service, general management, or human resources will be considered a strong asset. On the job familiarization regarding the specific facility layout and resident demographics will be provided to the selected candidates.
