Thank you for using Dubai Interviews (“App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our Android application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Voluntarily

When you submit a walk-in interview listing through the Post Interview feature, you may provide:

• Company name, job category, and city
• Interview dates, time, and location
• Salary range and open positions
• Contact details: phone number, WhatsApp number, and/or email address
• A Google Maps URL for the interview venue
• Your name or alias (“Submitted By” field)
• Any additional notes about the interview

All fields except company name, interview dates, time, location, and at least one open position are optional. You are not required to provide personal contact information.

1.2 Account Information (Google Sign-In)

The App uses Google Sign-In, powered by Firebase Authentication, to allow you to create and manage an account. When you sign in with Google, we receive:

• Your Google account name and email address
• Your Google profile photo URL
• A unique Firebase user ID

This information is used to identify your account within the App, personalize your experience, and enable features such as the Interview Chat and Application Tracker. We do not receive your Google password.

1.3 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we automatically collect:

• Device ID – a unique identifier generated from your device, used solely to prevent duplicate report submissions. It is not used for advertising and is never shared with third parties except as described in this policy.
• Firebase Installation ID – a unique identifier assigned by Firebase to your app installation, used to deliver push notifications and measure app engagement.
• Internet connectivity data – the App communicates with our server (jobz9.com) to fetch and display interview listings.
• Google Advertising ID (Ad ID) – collected by the integrated Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK for serving personalized or non-personalized advertisements within the App. See Section 5 for details.
• App usage analytics – Google Firebase Analytics collects anonymized usage data (screens viewed, features used, session duration) to help us understand and improve the App.

We do not collect your GPS location, SMS messages, or contacts.

1.4 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

• Saved/bookmarked interviews (Android SharedPreferences)
• Document Checklist items you have ticked or added
• Application Tracker entries you have created to monitor your job applications
• Interview Reminder settings

You can clear all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App’s data in your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

• To display walk-in interview listings to users across the UAE
• To publish interview details submitted by users on our platform (jobz9.com)
• To authenticate users via Firebase and Google Sign-In
• To enable user-specific features: Interview Chat, Application Tracker, Job Alerts, and Reminders
• To process content reports and remove listings flagged as inaccurate or fraudulent
• To send push notifications about new interviews, job alerts, and app updates
• To serve advertisements through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
• To analyze app usage and improve the App via Firebase Analytics
• To improve the App and prevent abuse of submission and reporting features
• To respond to inquiries sent to innovationstsb@gmail.com

We do not use your information for any purpose not listed above.

3. Information Shared Publicly

Interview details you submit – including company name, location, contact numbers, email address, and any other information you enter – will be published publicly on our platform and visible to all App users.

Do not submit any personal information you do not wish to make publicly available. We recommend using business contact details rather than personal ones when posting interview listings.

4. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data is shared with third parties only in the following circumstances:

4.1 Our Backend Server

Our backend server (jobz9.com) processes interview submissions and report requests. Data transmitted to this server is used solely to operate the App.

4.2 Google Firebase

We use several Firebase services provided by Google LLC:

• Firebase Authentication – manages user sign-in via Google.
• Firebase Realtime Database – stores chat messages and user data associated with your account.
• Firebase Analytics – collects anonymized usage analytics.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) – delivers push notifications to your device.

Data processed by Firebase is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

4.3 Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)

The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob (AdMob Application ID: ca-app-pub-4698222793734226~5379301836). AdMob may collect and use:

• Google Advertising ID (Ad ID) to serve personalized ads
• App usage data for ad measurement and attribution
• Device information for ad targeting

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization). AdMob’s data practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

4.4 Google Play Install Referrer

The App uses the Google Play Install Referrer service to understand how users discovered the App. This is used for analytics only and does not involve sharing personal data with third parties.

4.5 Legal Disclosure

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

5. Advertising

The App integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements. AdMob may serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your device’s Advertising ID and usage signals. We do not share your name, email, or other personally identifiable information with advertisers.

To limit ad personalization:

• On Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• You may also reset your Advertising ID from the same menu

6. Push Notifications

The App may send push notifications for:

• New walk-in interviews matching your Job Alerts criteria
• Interview Reminders you have set
• App updates and announcements

You can disable push notifications at any time in your device’s notification settings or within the App’s notification preferences.

7. Data Retention

• Interview listings submitted through the App are retained on our server for as long as they remain active and accurate. You may request removal by contacting innovationstsb@gmail.com.
• Firebase account data (name, email, profile photo) is retained for as long as your account is active.
• Device ID data used for report deduplication is stored on our server for the minimum period necessary to prevent abuse.
• Firebase Analytics data is retained per Google’s default retention policy.
• Locally stored data (bookmarks, checklists, reminders, tracker entries) is stored on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information transmitted to and stored on our servers, including the use of HTTPS for all API communications. Firebase services use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to avoid submitting sensitive personal information through the App.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the App, please contact us at innovationstsb@gmail.com so we can remove it promptly.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your information:

• Access – request a copy of the information we hold about you
• Correction – request that inaccurate information be corrected
• Deletion – request that your submitted content, account data, or device identifiers be deleted
• Withdrawal of consent – stop using the App at any time; you may also delete your account by contacting us

11. Third-Party Links

The App may display links to external websites or apps (such as Google Maps URLs and Play Store links). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
