Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for acting as a motivator and mentor, fueling members’ fitness journeys and helping them achieve their personal goals. Key duties include guiding members on the proper use of gym equipment, correcting techniques, and offering supportive spotting. You will lead orientation workouts and fitness consultations for new members while ensuring all gym etiquette and club rules are followed. The role also involves maintaining a clean and hygienic training environment, reporting equipment maintenance needs, and consistently meeting personal training sales targets. Additionally, you will handle inquiries regarding departmental events and promotions.
Required Qualification
The candidate should possess a Diploma in Sports & Exercise Science, a Nitec in Fitness Training, or equivalent certifications such as ACE-CPT, FISAF, or Fitness Instructor Certification (FIC). A valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification, along with Standard First Aid, is mandatory. The candidate must have strong knowledge of exercise techniques, safety, and injury prevention. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to connect with members and work effectively within a team.
Experience Needed
The candidate should have at least 1 year of professional experience in Fitness Instructor Jobs Singapore or a related field within the hospitality and wellness industry. Previous experience in personal training sales or managing gym floor operations is highly preferred. The candidate should have a proven track record of maintaining high service standards and fostering a positive, supportive environment for club members.
