Job Overview

The Good Protein Network Limited (operating in partnership with The Good Food Institute APAC / GFI APAC), an international nonprofit think tank advancing plant-based, fermentation-derived, and cultivated proteins for a sustainable and resilient food system, is hiring a visionary and commercially astute Head of Corporate Engagement. Based at City House on Robinson Road, this executive leadership role sets the regional corporate engagement strategy, directs industry partnerships, and mobilizes private capital and infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and execute GFI APAC’s Corporate Engagement roadmap to systematically dismantle market barriers across ingredients, manufacturing capacity, capital access, and consumer adoption.
• Position GFI APAC as an evidence-based, authoritative thought partner to corporate agribusinesses, multinational food manufacturers, venture investors, and alternative protein startups.
• Lead and mentor a focused team of corporate engagement specialists, setting performance benchmarks, overseeing budgets, and guiding regional activities in Japan and South Korea.
• Collaborate closely with the Policy and Science teams to align commercial priorities with regulatory enablers, public-private partnerships, and policy interventions.
• Strategize with the Director of Strategic Partnerships to expand corporate engagement, investor dialogues, and institutional initiatives across Greater China and APAC.
• Represent GFI APAC as a keynote speaker and panelist at major regional industry conferences, investor roundtables, and international media briefings.
• Contribute strategic regional perspectives to GFI's global corporate engagement council, sharing best practices across North America, Europe, and India.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Food Systems, Sustainability, International Relations, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of senior experience across corporate strategy, management consulting, agribusiness, alternative proteins, venture capital/investment, or corporate affairs.
• Demonstrated capability to influence C-suite executives, institutional investors, and policymaking bodies to drive ecosystem-wide transformation.
• Strong background in leading, coaching, and inspiring cross-cultural and distributed professional teams.
• Robust commercial acumen with the ability to analyze market trends, financial feasibility, supply chain economics, and technological adoption.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills in English; fluency in an additional Asian language is an advantage.
• Deep mission alignment with food system transformation, climate resilience, and sustainable agriculture.
