A full time job opportunity is available at TEE YIH JIA FOOD MANUFACTURING PTE LTD in Singapore. The candidate will perform the duties of a hygiene and cleanliness supervisor. There is a vacancy for this on-site executive job position based at either 1 or 5 Senoko Road. The selected candidate will get a salary of $2,600 to $3,200 on a monthly basis. Key responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work activities of cleaning staff within all company buildings. They will assign duties and thoroughly inspect the work performed in accordance with the “Daily Inspection Checklist” to ensure full conformance to specifications and standards. The candidate will carefully investigate complaints or feedback and take prompt corrective actions where relevant. They will upkeep site cleaning supplies, chemicals, consumables, and equipment to ensure they are available and serviceable at all times. They will take regular inventory checks, issue cleaning supplies to cleaners, and account for the quality and timely delivery of cleanliness standards. The candidate will also train new or existing employees, recommend upgrade training courses, prepare accurate periodic reports, and ensure good safety practices in the course of work.
Required qualifications
The candidate is not required to have any formal higher education degree. Only Singaporeans are eligible to apply for this position. The candidate must be fully capable of commuting to and working on-site at the 1 or 5 Senoko Road facilities.
Experience needed
This is an executive level position in the general work sector. The candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant working experience. Prior experience in successfully leading a team is an absolute must for this role. On the job familiarization regarding the specific daily inspection checklists and company safety practices will be provided to the selected candidates.
Skills and competencies
The candidate should have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to manage the cleaning staff and handle feedback promptly and amicably. A working knowledge of basic computer skills to prepare accurate periodic reports will be highly advantageous. The candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented during inspections, able to follow strict hygiene and safety instructions carefully, and maintain a professional attitude at work.
