Job Overview

Asia Grand Pte. Ltd. is hiring a diligent, detail-oriented, and reliable Laundry Assistant to join its operations based at Raffles City Tower, 252 North Bridge Road. In this permanent full-time role operating on a 6-day work week, you will be responsible for quality checking, neat folding, packing, and labeling of processed linens and garments according to strict hospitality specifications and customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Fold and pack all processed laundry neatly in adherence to client specifications and organizational standards.
• Perform meticulous quality inspections on each linen and garment item to identify stains, fabric tears, or defects before packaging.
• Report damaged or stained items immediately to the supervisor and route affected laundry for rewashing or repair.
• Verify order accuracy by matching item types and quantities against order sheets prior to sealing and labeling.
• Monitor and maintain sufficient inventory of packaging supplies, including plastic wraps, bags, tags, and packing materials, alerting supervisors before stocks run low.
• Maintain high housekeeping, tidiness, and hygiene standards across the folding and packing work areas.
• Follow all workplace safety, ergonomic handling, and fire safety protocols diligently.
• Carry out additional related laundry and housekeeping duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Working Schedule & Terms

• Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time.
• Work Schedule: 6-day work week on rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Location: Raffles City Tower, 252 North Bridge Road, Singapore 179103 (City Hall MRT).

Requirements & Qualifications

• No formal education qualifications required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience (prior experience in commercial laundry, hotel housekeeping, or production packing is an advantage).
• Strong attention to detail with keen visual acuity to identify fabric flaws, tears, and stains.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive manual folding and lifting tasks.
• Disciplined, reliable, and able to adhere strictly to packing guidelines and quality standards.
• Willing and able to work shift rotations including weekends and public holidays.
