Job Overview

Lim Siang Huat Pte Ltd is seeking an IT-savvy Logistics Assistant to support daily supply chain and warehousing operations at the Singapore Wine Vault Building (Jurong Fishery Port). This role is ideal for individuals experienced in leveraging digital tools, barcode scanners, and warehouse management systems (WMS) to drive inventory accuracy and efficient dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound receiving and outbound dispatch workflows utilizing handheld scanners and digital WMS software.
• Digitize picking logs, update inventory balances, and investigate stock discrepancies to maintain real-time stock integrity.
• Liaise with logistics controllers, drivers, and warehouse floor personnel to coordinate delivery schedules and vehicle assignments via messaging platforms and dashboards.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting on mobile devices, tablets, and handheld barcode scanners to avoid operational downtime.
• Perform general logistics administration, system data entry, and documentation to support warehouse activities.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement swift corrective actions in collaboration with ground teams.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in tech-enabled logistics or modern digital warehouse environments.
• Practical familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), scanning terminals, and inventory tracking tools.
• Proficient in using digital hardware (smartphones, tablets, RF barcode scanners) and basic office software (MS Excel, Google Sheets, email).
• Strong problem-solving capability, attention to detail, and ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively.
