Job Overview

Vez Log Pte. Ltd. is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support daily warehouse and supply chain fulfillment operations across Singapore. Operating under a Compressed Work Schedule, this contract role is responsible for the end-to-end processing of inbound and outbound freight—including unloading, barcode scanning, bin allocation, pick-and-pack fulfillment, and loading dispatch vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming cargo and container shipments, unloading pallets and inspecting goods for visible damage, defects, or quantity discrepancies.
• Perform systematic stock put-away into designated warehouse racking and bin locations, scanning barcodes and updating inventory records.
• Pick customer and store orders accurately using pick lists and handheld barcode scanners.
• Pack goods securely using appropriate protective packing materials and generate and affix accurate shipping waybills and dispatch labels.
• Stage prepared orders at loading docks and assist in loading outgoing delivery trucks safely.
• Participate in periodic cycle counts and physical warehouse stock audits.
• Operate manual and motorized pallet jacks (MPT) safely to transport goods within the distribution facility.
• Maintain a tidy, hazard-free warehouse environment and adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics handling, or pick-and-pack fulfillment.
• Competent in operating manual or electric pallet jacks.
• Possess physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk continuously, and lift heavy parcels or cartons.
• High attention to detail to accurately verify SKU codes, product barcodes, and shipment quantities.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to adapt to a fast-paced logistics distribution environment.
