Job Overview

HAL Completions MFG Pte. Ltd., a key manufacturing facility within Halliburton supporting oilfield completions and precision downhole equipment, is hiring a skilled Machine Operator (Associate to Senior) at Tuas Biomedical Park II on Tuas South Avenue 12. Working with high-precision engineering components, this permanent role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating CNC and conventional machine tools to manufacture critical equipment in accordance with stringent dimensional tolerances and oil and gas industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, align, and operate a diverse range of machine tools, including Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and manual machinery.
• Mount, position, and calibrate workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools safely according to job route sheets.
• Interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, geometric dimensioning, and machining operational specifications.
• Perform shop mathematics calculations to set proper feeds, speeds, cut depths, and coordinate work offsets.
• Perform in-process inspection and dimensional verification using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
• Monitor tooling wear and replace inserts, drills, and cutters as needed to maintain precision and workpiece integrity.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and machine cleaning, maintaining a safe and organized 5S workshop environment.
• Strictly follow environmental, health, and workplace safety protocols while collaborating constructively with manufacturing team members.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related machining experience (roles spanning Associate to Senior levels based on 2 to 6 years of proven precision machining track record).
• Proficient in setting up and running CNC lathes, milling machines, or conventional machine tools.
• Demonstrated capability in reading technical blueprints and executing shop mathematics.
• Competent in using precision measuring instruments to conduct quality inspections.
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to high craftsmanship and quality standards.
• Willing to work shift schedules at Tuas Biomedical Park II.
