Key Responsibilities

• Meet patients punctually at their homes, residential care facilities, or clinic rendezvous points to commence escort assignments.
• Accompany patients seamlessly through hospital registration, doctor consultations, diagnostic tests, treatments, and pharmacy medication collection.
• Provide attentive mobility assistance, including walking support, arm-in-arm guidance, and wheelchair handling to ensure patient safety and physical comfort.
• Listen carefully to doctor's medical instructions, treatment plans, and follow-up advice, translating them into clear, concise visit summaries for families.
• Communicate professionally with clinic staff, nurses, and medical specialists on behalf of patients.
• Submit assignment status updates and visit logs promptly through the platform to maintain high service accountability and client satisfaction.

Working Hours, Location & Compensation

• Employment Type: Part Time, Freelance (Flexible scheduling with absolute freedom to select assignments fitting your personal availability).
• Work Location: Islandwide across hospitals, specialist clinics, and medical centers in Singapore.
• Earnings: Attractive hourly rates starting from S$18/hr, with higher earning tiers and incentives based on completed assignments.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Prior experience or background in healthcare, nursing, healthcare assistance, caregiving, eldercare, medical social work, or formal healthcare training is highly preferred.
• Good spoken and written proficiency in English to communicate effectively with medical professionals and draft clear visit summaries.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities in Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, or Chinese dialects to support elderly or non-English-speaking patients.
• Empathetic, patient, reliable, and deeply committed to senior care and patient advocacy.
• Application & Onboarding: Involves an online application via meddy.sg/companion_apply, a short interview, signing a Companion Partner Agreement, and completing training and assessment.
