Job Overview

Business Edge Personnel Services Pte Ltd is hiring a versatile, organized, and creative Museum Associate to support the National Heritage Board's (NHB) Museum Roundtable initiatives. Stationed on a Monday-to-Friday schedule (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM), this contract role drives event coordination, digital engagement across the 'I Love Museums' social channels, and administrative support for key cultural programmes, symposia, and heritage conferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, operational coordination, and execution of NHB Museum Roundtable hallmark events, including International Museum Day conferences and annual general meetings.
  • Create engaging digital multimedia content for the 'I Love Museums' Facebook and Instagram channels, managing community interactions and running promotional giveaways.
  • Coordinate capability development sessions, workshops, webinars, and symposia—including drafting electronic direct mailers (EDMs), tracking registrations, and collating post-event feedback surveys.
  • Provide administrative maintenance and updates for the International Council of Museums (ICOM) Singapore membership database.
  • Execute general divisional administrative duties, such as data collation, records filing, and routine database management.
  • Support physical events such as walking tours, workshops, and evening events (with off-in-lieu granted).

Working Schedule & Terms

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Weekday evening and weekend duties may be required occasionally during physical events, with off-in-lieu provided.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in administrative coordination, events management, or cultural programming (no specific educational discipline required).
  • Practical experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and running digital publicity campaigns.
  • Proficiency or knowledge in graphic design software/tools is an advantage.
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to multitask across varying phases of programme delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with polished written and verbal communication.
