Painter - Core Contractor

Job Overview

Core Contractor Pte. Ltd. is hiring an experienced and safety-conscious Painter to carry out internal and external painting works across various building and construction project sites. Based out of Aljunied Industrial Complex, this full-time role focuses on external facade coating, surface preparation, and working at heights using suspended gondolas and access platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior architectural painting and coating works on commercial, industrial, and residential structures.
• Operate, inspect, and work safely on suspended gondolas, boom lifts, and mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) for external facade painting.
• Execute surface preparation tasks including scraping, sanding, pressure cleaning, priming, and applying protective sealants.
• Mix, blend, and match paints, coatings, and specialized weather-resistant finishes according to project specifications.
• Ensure full compliance with workplace safety and health guidelines for working at heights, including wearing fall arrest systems and PPE.
• Clean, maintain, and properly store painting tools, sprayers, rollers, and platform equipment after daily operations.
• Report site progression, safety hazards, and material requirements to site supervisors.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in building painting, structural coating, or construction finishing works.
• Comfortable and experienced with working at heights using gondolas, scaffolding, or access platforms.
• Holding a valid Gondola/Suspended Scaffold Operator Certificate or Work-At-Height (WAH) certification is highly advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to endure outdoor weather conditions and extended standing hours.
• Responsible, reliable, and committed to stringent on-site safety standards.
