Patient Service Associate ( Specialist Outpatient Clinics)

A contract, full time job opportunity is available at NATIONAL UNIVERSITY HEALTH SERVICES GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore. The candidate will perform the duties of a patient service associate for the Specialist Outpatient Clinics. There is a vacancy for this on-site non-executive job position located at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (Tower B) on Jurong East Street 21. The selected candidate will get a salary of $1,900 to $3,900 on a monthly basis. There is a requirement for a minimum GCE O Level qualification. Key responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent service by registering patients for their visits to the Specialist Outpatient Clinic. They will accurately schedule appointments and assist patients in coordinating multiple medical appointments. The candidate will perform essential billing processes, which include payment collection, managing the cash float, and actively encouraging patients to sign up for cashless payments. They will provide vital financial counselling by clearly explaining charges and assisting patients with various available finance schemes. The candidate will also assist doctors during consultations by chaperoning or translating, prepare patients for physical examinations by taking their height and weight, and support teleconsultations by setting up equipment and coordinating with patients.

Required qualifications

The candidate is required to have a minimum GCE O Level educational qualification. They should be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The candidate must be fully capable of working on-site at the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital in Jurong East.

Experience needed

This is a non-executive level position in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and customer service sector. While 1 year of prior experience in customer-related or front desk service is highly preferred, entry level candidates with no prior working experience are warmly welcomed and encouraged to apply. On the job familiarization regarding the specific clinic billing processes, financial schemes, and teleconsultation setups will be provided to the selected candidates.
