Key responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for securely lashing and unlashing containers on cargo ships to ensure the safe transportation of goods to their final destination. They will work closely in teams to secure large cargo ships to the port’s berth during mooring operations. They will complete all assigned cargo handling duties with responsibility to maintain efficient and safe port operations.
Required qualifications
The candidate is required to have a PSLE pass in English. They should be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The candidate must be physically capable, comfortable working at heights, and able to handle rigorous outdoor conditions. They must be fully willing and able to commit to 12-hour shift work, with choices between day, night, or rotating shifts based on operational needs.
Experience needed
This is a fresh and entry level position in the logistics and supply chain sector. The candidate is not required to have any prior working experience. Any background in general labor, outdoor work, or maritime operations will be considered an asset. Comprehensive on the job training and official certification will be fully provided to the selected candidates.
