Retail Associate - Cacao Social (Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie)

Role Overview

Cacao Social Pte. Ltd. is hiring a passionate and customer-focused Retail Associate to join the Mr Bucket Chocolaterie team at Dempsey Road. In this role, you will create delightful guest experiences through thoughtful retail service, storytelling, and hands-on cacao tasting/workshop experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Retail & Customer Experience

• Extend a warm and professional welcome to all guests entering the chocolaterie.
• Develop deep product expertise to narrate Mr Bucket’s artisanal chocolates, regional cacao origins, and seasonal offerings.
• Provide personalized product recommendations, gifting solutions, and organic upselling/cross-selling.
• Accurately operate POS systems, process payments, and wrap or pack gifting packages.
• Maintain immaculate, fully stocked, and beautifully merchandised retail counters and displays.
• Assist with regular stock counts, inventory transfers, and display resets.

Experience & Workshop Facilitation

• Assist in setting up, prepping supplies, and running interactive workshops, tasting sessions, chocolate tours, and corporate events.
• Greet and register guests participating in pre-booked experiences and assist lead facilitators with event timing and attendee engagement.
• Conduct cacao and chocolate workshops independently once certified through internal training.
• Handle post-event teardown, sanitization, and room turnover.

Team Collaboration & Operations

• Cross-train across customer experience touchpoints, retail operations, and bar/floor stations as operational needs evolve.
• Ensure common guest areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Work cooperatively with peers and management to guarantee a seamless overall visitor journey.

Requirements & Ideal Profile

• Prior background in F&B, hospitality, or specialty retail is beneficial; fresh graduates and entry-level candidates with strong enthusiasm are welcome to apply.
• A genuine interest in craft chocolate, artisanal foods, and hospitality storytelling.
• Engaging interpersonal skills with the confidence to address both individuals and small groups.
• Adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in an active, fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to commit to a 5-day rotating roster, including shifts on weekends and public holidays.
