BREAD DE DULCE PTE. LTD. is looking for a Full-Time Service Crew member for the Subway outlet located at Changi General Hospital. This is a Permanent role requiring a specific commitment to the opening shift.

Key Responsibilities

The role follows the global SUBWAY® operational standards for food preparation and customer service:

  • Customer Service: Greet guests cheerfully, demonstrate a complete understanding of the menu, and practice suggestive selling.

  • Food Preparation: Prepare food neatly and accurately according to brand formulas and safety procedures.

  • Cash Management: Operate the POS system, collect payments, and perform “Cash-In” procedures to account for money and stock during the shift.

  • Maintenance & Inventory: Clean and maintain the restaurant using the “3-step method,” restock service areas, and assist with receiving and entering stock deliveries into the system.

  • Professional Development: Complete required training via the “University of SUBWAY®”.

Required Qualifications & Traits

  • Education: Some high school education or equivalent.

  • Physical Demands: Requires standing and walking for the entire workday. Must be able to lift 5kg frequently and up to 20kg occasionally.

  • Skills: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain professional grooming standards.

  • Experience: No previous experience is required as this is a Fresh/entry level position.

Salary & Benefits

  • Monthly Salary: $2,000 to $2,200.

  • Sign-on Bonus: A one-time bonus of $500 is awarded after 6 consecutive months of work.

    In my two years working as a service crew member, i have gained many skills. I have helped maintain a clean and pleasing environment, processed transactions at the counter and assisted/cook in the kitchen. What I like about being a service crew is I am continually communicating with people. I’ll be able to build people skills that I could apply in my daily life. Whenever customers are satisfied with an outcome, I feel like I’ve accomplished a goal or a mission. When dealing with difficult customers, I remain calm and listen to their concerns. I try to find a solution that will satisfy both the customer and the company. If necessary, I involve my supervisor to ensure the situation is resolved in a professional manner. I believe that excellent customer service is key to my job performance as a service crew member, gaining a customer satisfaction rate. Also, I make sure to maintain a cheerful demeanor throughout my customer interactions and to go the extra mile.
