Job Overview

LF Logistics Services Pte. Ltd., a premier contract logistics and supply chain solutions provider, is hiring an organized, proactive Shipping Assistant to join its logistics operations at 10 Bulim Avenue. Working on a 5-day work week schedule, this permanent full-time position is responsible for processing Singapore Customs import/export permits, coordinating freight clearance, liaising with carriers, and updating warehouse inventory release workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Declare and process import and export customs documentation and permits for warehouse cargo.
• Process duty payment permits and GST declarations for local domestic sales.
• Liaise directly with Singapore Customs officers regarding shipment arrivals, inspections, and departures.
• Ensure meticulous data accuracy in customs declarations, shipping invoices, and Harmonized System (HS) codes.
• Provide regular status tracking and milestone updates to customers on incoming and outgoing freight.
• Coordinate freight payment arrangements, including cheque requisitions to shipping lines and carriers with the Finance department.
• Liaise with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and freight forwarders for prompt customs clearance.
• Coordinate with internal warehouse supervisors for cargo receiving, put-away, and gate release operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level, GCE 'A' Level, or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• At least 1 year of relevant operational experience within the logistics, forwarding, or supply chain industry.
• Possession of Certificate of Customs Competency Test for Declarants (SC401) by Singapore Customs is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS / Exceed).
• Strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness and flexibility to perform overtime when operational demands arise.
