Key responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for handling the company’s daily shipment activities and actively supporting supply chain operations. In the shipping department, they will pick goods at designated staging racks, pack and label items on trays and shipping boxes, generate packing slips and commercial invoices from the system, and coordinate directly with forwarders for shipment collection. In the store department, the candidate will perform job issuing and fulfill customer orders strictly following FIFO (First In First Out) practices. They will accurately weigh, count, pack, and label components, dispatch materials to designated departments, conduct physical stock takes, and meticulously update the system on all goods movements.
Required qualifications
The candidate is not required to have any formal higher education degree. They should be legally eligible to work in Singapore. The candidate must be fully capable of working on-site at the Ubi Road facility and committing to the 5-day work week. They must also be able to read, write, and speak simple English to communicate effectively regarding shipping requirements.
Experience needed
This is a non-executive level position in the logistics, supply chain, and manufacturing sector. The candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant working experience. Prior experience in managing incoming and outgoing goods, stock management, and forwarder coordination will be highly beneficial. On the job familiarization regarding the company’s specific system updates and order fulfillment protocols will be provided to the selected candidates.
Skills and competencies
The candidate should possess basic PC knowledge to accurately update goods receive information and generate necessary shipping documents. They must be an excellent, adaptable team player who is willing to cross-support other areas and sections when necessary. The candidate should be highly organized, capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, able to follow inventory instructions carefully, and maintain a dedicated, professional attitude at work.
