Job Overview

Jordon Food Industries Pte. Ltd., an established specialist in fresh and frozen pork distribution, cold storage, and food manufacturing incorporated in 1996, is hiring an experienced and skilled Supermarket Stall Butcher for islandwide supermarket deployments. Offering an attractive monthly salary ranging from $3,000 to $4,500, performance and attendance incentives, sales commissions, overtime pay after 44 hours, medical coverage, and staff discounts, this full-time/part-time permanent role involves meat preparation, counter display maintenance, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, slice, trim, debone, grind, and prepare fresh and frozen meat products accurately to meet daily retail sales requirements.
• Inspect meats, pork products, and delicatessen items thoroughly to ensure top quality and freshness standards are maintained.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP sanitation procedures to comply with health regulations.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain butchery tools, bandsaws, grinders, display chillers, and work areas to ensure absolute workplace safety and hygiene.
• Set up, restock, and maintain attractive product displays, price tags, and clear signage for customer clarity.
• Provide polite, friendly, and professional customer service, offering meat selection advice and fulfilling customized customer requests.
• Support supervisors and stall operations with ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Working Location, Schedule & Compensation

• Employment Type: Full Time, Part Time.
• Work Schedule: 6-day work week (working hours between 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM); overtime compensation provided for hours exceeding 44 hours per week.
• Work Location: Islandwide across Jordon Food Industries' supermarket partner stalls in Singapore.
• Salary Range: $3,000 to $4,500 per month (inclusive of base pay, performance incentives, attendance bonuses, and sales commissions).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Preferably at least 1 year of hands-on butchering or meat-cutting experience in a supermarket, wet market, or butchery environment.
• Possession of a valid Food Safety Certificate (WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 or equivalent) is preferred.
• Physically fit with the stamina to handle standing for long periods and operating heavy butchery equipment.
• Customer-oriented with good interpersonal skills and a positive working attitude.
