Job Overview

Grand Hyatt Singapore, an internationally acclaimed five-star luxury hotel on Scotts Road, is seeking an attentive, polished, and guest-oriented Waiter / Waitress to join its dining service team. In this full-time role, you will deliver an exceptional and consistent level of luxury dining service, anticipate guest needs, maintain pristine restaurant presentation, and create memorable culinary experiences for local and international patrons.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverage orders to dining guests courteously, professionally, and efficiently to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Attend promptly to guest inquiries, offering detailed menu descriptions, daily specials, and beverage pairings.
• Anticipate diner preferences and service touchpoints proactively to exceed customer expectations throughout the meal.
• Assist the floor team with mise-en-place, table settings, and restaurant preparation prior to daily meal periods.
• Maintain immaculate cleanliness, tidiness, and aesthetic standards across the dining hall, service stations, and cutlery displays.
• Clear and reset dining tables smoothly between seatings in accordance with five-star hotel operating procedures.
• Foster positive working relationships with culinary and bar teams to ensure synchronized kitchen-to-table service flow.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of relevant customer service or food & beverage service experience (hotel dining or upscale restaurant experience is an advantage).
• Ideally possesses GCE 'O' Level qualification or equivalent.
• Strong customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude, flexible, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
• Able to work rotating shift duties, including weekends and public holidays.
