Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for performing the picking and packing of goods accurately. They will handle the loading and unloading of items from containers and loose shipments. The candidate will be tasked with the segregation of stock based on items and performing put-away tasks. Using an RDT scanner and the Warehouse Management System (WMS), the candidate will pick orders and scan packs for dispatch. They must also report any product damages by taking photos and documenting the issues before moving items to designated locations. Supporting general warehouse operations and performing ad-hoc duties as assigned are also required.
Required Qualification
The candidate should have at least a Primary, Secondary, or O-Level education. They must be physically fit and capable of carrying loads up to 25kg from time to time. The candidate should demonstrate good initiative, a strong sense of responsibility, and a positive “can-do” working attitude. No forklift license is required for this position, as the focus is on manual handling and system-based picking.
Experience Needed
The candidate should ideally have 1 year of experience in Warehouse Picker and Packer Jobs Singapore or a similar logistics environment. However, fresh entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply as comprehensive training is provided. Familiarity with using handheld scanners or working within a WMS environment is considered an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
The candidate should have a basic understanding of warehouse flows and inventory segregation. They must be detail-oriented to ensure that picking and packing are done correctly through the scanning system. The candidate should be a reliable team player who can work efficiently during the standard hours of 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.
