Job Overview

Morton's of Chicago (Singapore) Pte Ltd, renowned home to one of Singapore's premier martini bars and upscale American steakhouse dining at the Mandarin Oriental Singapore, is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Bartender. Operating in a high-tempo, sophisticated hospitality environment, this permanent role is responsible for crafting iconic martinis and bespoke cocktails, providing top-tier bar hospitality, and managing daily bar inventory and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and craft a wide range of classic and signature alcoholic cocktails, martinis, and non-alcoholic beverages to exacting brand standards.
• Provide attentive, personalized bar and table food-and-beverage service to patrons.
• Present guest bills, process cash, card, and digital transactions, and maintain an accurate cash float and POS register balance.
• Conduct daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring bar stations are stocked, organized, and primed for peak service.
• Manage daily bar inventory, including liquor, beer, wine (LBW), mixers, garnishes, and premium bar glassware.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation, cleanliness, and safety standards across the bar counter, equipment, and back-bar display areas.
• Engage guests courteously, offering educated beverage recommendations and delivering the signature Morton's guest experience.
• Carry out ad-hoc operational bar and service duties as assigned by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in a reputable cocktail bar, hotel lounge, or upscale restaurant setting.
• Strong working knowledge of cocktails, classic mixology, and LBW (Liquor, Beer, Wine).
• Positive, energetic disposition with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume luxury dining and bar environment.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and able to work evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
