Clean Room Engineer - IAQ Engineering (SG)

Role Overview

IAQ Engineering (SG) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a qualified Clean Room Engineer to lead cleanroom design, project execution, and testing activities across high-tech sectors including semiconductor, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and electronics industries.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Coordination

• Develop tailored cleanroom layouts and engineering design packages aligned with client requirements.
• Review engineering blueprints, technical submissions, and equipment schedules.
• Interface closely with ACMV, Electrical, Mechanical, Process, and CSA multidisciplinary teams.

Project Management & Site Execution

• Coordinate project scheduling, material procurement, and budget tracking to ensure timely delivery.
• Serve as technical liaison between clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and equipment vendors.
• Supervise on-site installation works to ensure exact adherence to approved drawings and specifications.

Testing, Commissioning & Compliance

• Coordinate and execute cleanroom testing, balancing, and commissioning (NEBB standards).
• Prepare and update as-built drawings, validation documentation, and handover records.
• Enforce corporate QA/QC policies, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines, and international cleanroom standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related engineering field.
• 2 to 5 years of proven experience in cleanroom construction, commissioning, or maintenance within semiconductor, pharma, or healthcare facilities.
• Solid technical understanding of cleanroom design principles, HVAC/ACMV systems, HEPA/ULPA filtration, and differential pressure control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and cleanroom validation protocols.
• Willingness to work in a combined office and project site environment with occasional project-driven overtime.
