Job Overview

Conrad Singapore Orchard, a luxury hotel property managed by Hilton located at 1 Cuscaden Road, is seeking an experienced, leadership-driven, and meticulous Housekeeper (Management / Supervisory level). Offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from $3,300 to $3,700, this permanent full-time role involves overseeing daily housekeeping operations, managing team performance, maintaining pristine cleanliness standards across guest rooms and public areas, coordinating engineering and vendor tasks, and delivering exceptional Hilton hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the ultimate comfort, safety, and immaculate cleanliness of all guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and heart-of-the-house spaces as expected at Conrad Singapore Orchard.
• Assist in recruiting qualified personnel, conducting training sessions, and monitoring staff development to achieve brand cleaning and service standards.
• Manage daily operational needs, optimize work schedules, and assign proper cleaning quotas to achieve optimum productivity and maintain superior cleanliness standards.
• Establish a safe working environment and coordinate tasks and schedules for outside contractors working on hotel premises.
• Establish and maintain accurate inventory records for cleaning equipment, guest amenities, and operating supplies while monitoring cost control programs.
• Monitor occupancy projections, forecast staffing needs, and collaborate effectively with Assistant Managers and various departments (Front Office, Engineering, F&B).
• Carry out routine daily inspections, note deficiencies, coordinate engineering work orders, and ensure proper follow-up maintenance.
• Familiarize team members with corporate standards, participate in performance evaluations, handle staff counseling/discipline, and maintain high employee morale.
• Be familiar with laundry and uniform room operations, handle guest complaints promptly, and participate in monthly staff meetings.
• Understand departmental P&L reports, capital expenditure budgets, labor budgets, and operating expense targets presented by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Respond properly and professionally during any hotel emergency or safety situation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of previous housekeeping experience, including demonstrated experience supervising or leading a team in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills; proficiency in an additional language is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for Hilton hospitality, integrity, teamwork, and accountability.
• Familiarity with online training platforms and administrative record-keeping.
