Technician - Cleaning Equipment - Flintex Consulting

Role Overview

Flintex Consulting Pte. Ltd. is looking for a hands-on and dependable Cleaning Equipment Technician to support machinery maintenance operations at Changi Airport. The role focuses on servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining specialized commercial cleaning machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on cleaning equipment, including high-pressure jets, leaf blowers, floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, and battery-operated carts.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance, functional testing, and electrical/mechanical safety inspections.
• Diagnose technical faults and troubleshoot machinery breakdowns promptly to reduce equipment downtime.
• Manage asset tagging protocols and maintain accurate documentation of machinery inventory and service histories.
• Inspect cleaning chemicals, auxiliary tools, and machinery to ensure alignment with quality and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and equipment specialists for complex repairs and warranty servicing.
• Compile maintenance logs, inspection reports, and coordinate follow-up corrective actions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of practical experience in the repair and maintenance of mechanical or electrical systems (prior cleaning equipment experience is an advantage).
• Strong troubleshooting aptitude with practical problem-solving capabilities.
• Basic computer literacy for maintenance logging and report writing.
• Comfortable working a 5.5-day schedule based at Changi Airport.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
