Role Overview

Dashmesh Singapore Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Warehouse Assistant to oversee inventory handling and fulfillment operations within their temperature-controlled cold room facility (-18°C) at Penjuru Lane. This role is essential for maintaining product safety, temperature integrity, and accurate distribution of frozen goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and store frozen products in designated sub-zero freezer zones (-18°C) following FIFO and FEFO inventory methodologies.
• Accurately pick, sort, and pack customer orders while minimizing ambient exposure to safeguard cold chain integrity.
• Safely load and unload frozen cargo using manual handling methods and material handling equipment.
• Perform regular stock counting, routine cycle audits, and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor and log cold room temperatures regularly, promptly flagging any deviations or equipment anomalies.
• Verify and ensure all packaging carries accurate labelling, batch details, and expiration dates.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping, hygiene, and organization across staging and freezer areas.
• Wear and maintain mandatory cold-wear personal protective equipment (PPE), strictly adhering to cold stress protocols and workplace safety standards.

Working Conditions

• Active deployment in sub-zero freezer environments (-18°C) with structured rotation schedules and warming breaks provided to mitigate cold stress.
• Company-issued thermal gear, insulated gloves, and safety footwear provided.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Prior experience in a cold room, frozen warehouse, or food wholesale environment is preferred.
• Physically fit with the stamina to handle heavy cartons and perform manual warehouse tasks in low temperatures.
• Basic understanding of warehousing workflows, inventory control, and food safety practices (on-the-job training provided).
• Reliable team player with the ability to follow standard operating procedures precisely.
• Willingness to commit to overtime and Saturday shift work when operational needs arise.
