Job Overview
Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Pte. Ltd. (Yishun Health) is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking, and research-oriented Dietitian to join its clinical nutrition and dietetics team at 90 Yishun Central. In this permanent, full-time executive role, you will deliver comprehensive dietetic services across acute clinical care, institutional foodservice operations, and community partner settings (including community hospitals, nursing homes, and workplaces), while driving public health promotion, chronic disease prevention, and applied clinical research.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nutritional assessments, clinical medical nutrition therapy (MNT), and dietetic interventions for inpatient and outpatient populations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate individualized nutrition care plans and monitor therapeutic diet efficacy.
- Provide specialized dietetic consultation and menu reviews across foodservice operations and partner institutions including community hospitals, step-down facilities, and nursing homes.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute public health promotion initiatives and education campaigns focusing on chronic disease prevention and community wellness.
- Deliver engaging nutritional education across varied platforms and digital media, demonstrating media and IT agility to reach diverse demographic groups.
- Precept, guide, and mentor dietetic students, clinical interns, healthcare peers, and foodservice partners.
- Actively contribute to hospital clinical research projects, audit studies, and professional development initiatives to advance dietetic practice.
- Participate actively in national and international professional dietetic bodies and lead community-centered outreach programs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a Public Service Commission (PSC) recognized university.
- Completion of at least 6 months of supervised clinical internship, qualifying for professional registration or licensing with the relevant national dietetics association.
- Current Full Member status, or eligible for Full Dietitian membership, with the Singapore Nutrition & Dietetics Association (SNDA).
- Minimum 1 year of relevant dietetic experience preferred.
- Proficiency in digital tools, research methodologies, and social media platforms for health communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to engage patients, families, and multidisciplinary stakeholders effectively.
