Job Overview

Centre For Clinical Haematology Pte. Ltd. is seeking a meticulous, safety-focused Pharmacy Technician to join their specialist practice at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. This permanent role focuses on chemotherapy medication compounding, cytotoxic drug handling, controlled drug management, and pharmacy inventory control within an ambulatory oncology and haematology setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound chemotherapy medications, including aseptic reconstitution and dilution, utilizing Laminar Airflow HEPA Filter Isolators strictly adhering to clinical protocols.
• Assist in dispensing prescription medications under supervisory pharmacist oversight, ensuring strict alignment with clinic SOPs and patient safety standards.
• Safely handle, store, track, and dispose of cytotoxic chemotherapy agents, controlled substances, and general pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date dispensing logs and patient medication treatment documentation.
• Manage clinical pharmacy inventory, monitor medication stock par levels, track batch expiry dates, and coordinate replenishment orders.
• Support patient safety initiatives and provide basic medication administration instructions or counseling within the designated scope of practice.
• Ensure compounding suites, cleanrooms, and dispensary areas strictly comply with regulatory hygiene and safety guidelines.
• Undertake ad-hoc pharmacy operations and administrative support duties as required.

Working Hours & Location

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM) and alternate Saturdays (8:30 AM – 1:00 PM).
• Location: Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, 38 Irrawaddy Road, Singapore 329563.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Prior experience in oncology pharmacy, cytotoxic reconstitution/chemotherapy compounding, or an ambulatory healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
• Sound knowledge of medication safety protocols, cytotoxic waste management, and pharmaceutical stock control.
• High attention to detail, strong sense of accountability, and excellent multidisciplinary team collaboration skills.
