Job Overview
Talking Toes Pte. Ltd., an inspiring Singapore-based lifestyle and apparel brand on a mission to ignite positive change through thoughtfully designed socks and accessories, is seeking friendly, energetic Retail Sales Associates to join their retail team on a 3-month contract starting in mid-November. As the frontline ambassador of the brand, you will connect with shoppers, share the brand's sustainable and positive ethos, manage POS transactions, and ensure high standards of visual merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome shoppers, introduce the Talking Toes brand story, and offer tailored product recommendations.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) terminal to process cash, credit/debit card, and digital payment transactions accurately.
- Maintain shop floor presentation, replenish shelves, and uphold brand visual merchandising guidelines.
- Assist with stock receiving, inventory transfers, stockroom organization, and regular cycle counts/stocktakes.
- Process customer exchanges, returns, and general product enquiries politely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the store team to achieve daily sales targets while maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe retail environment.
Contract Details & Working Schedule
- Contract Duration: 3-month contract starting in mid-November.
- Working Hours: 42 hours per week, 6 days a week (including at least one weekend day).
- Remuneration: S$2,500 – S$2,800 per month with CPF contributions.
- Office/HQ Location: Kong Beng Industrial Building, 41 Jalan Pemimpin, Singapore 577186 (retail floor deployment across retail points).
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of working experience; fresh graduates and entry-level applicants with strong customer service orientation are welcome.
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or F&B is an advantage (comprehensive training provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an outgoing, friendly attitude.
- Physically fit and comfortable standing for long retail hours and handling stock cartons.
- Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and available to work retail shifts including weekends and public holidays.
