Job Overview

NTUC FairPrice Co-operative Ltd, Singapore's leading supermarket retailer and social enterprise, is hiring an energetic, results-driven, and hands-on Retail Supervisor to lead departmental store operations across its islandwide retail network. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability for your assigned department, optimizing inventory levels, upholding high visual merchandising standards, and coaching a frontline team of Retail Assistants to deliver an exceptional grocery shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and monitor departmental sales performance, gross profit targets, and shrinkage reduction initiatives.
• Oversee daily inventory management, stock replenishment, stock rotation (FIFO), and minimize stock-out situations.
• Plan product allocation, seasonal displays, and promotional end-caps based on sales trends, customer demand, and promotional calendars.
• Maintain high retail housekeeping, store hygiene, food safety, and visual merchandising standards across display shelves and chillers.
• Supervise, schedule, guide, and train a team of Retail Assistants to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer inquiries and on-floor feedback promptly and professionally to ensure high shopper satisfaction.
• Conduct regular stock audits, monitor shrinkage, and ensure compliance with workplace safety and operational SOPs.

Working Schedule & Location

• Work Schedule: 6-day work week on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Employment Type: Full Time.
• Location: Islandwide deployment across FairPrice supermarkets and retail stores in Singapore.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma, GCE 'A' Level, Higher NITEC, or GCE 'O' Level qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in supermarket, FMCG, or retail operations.
• Demonstrated leadership, team supervision, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Hands-on, service-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail floor environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across shift teams.
