This permanent role focuses on upholding exemplary standards of traditional Japanese omotenashi hospitality, dining hall preparation, sake and beverage management, and seamless guest service for discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dining settings, tableware, and counter arrangements meticulously ahead of lunch and dinner services.
- Deliver authentic, refined table and counter service to patrons in accordance with fine dining Japanese hospitality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive inventory counts of dining room linen, artisanal utensils, and serviceware.
- Manage alcoholic beverage stock, including premium sake, wine, and spirits, ensuring proper storage temperatures and stock rotation.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic organization across dining counters, service stations, and private rooms.
- Foster positive relationships and coordinate closely with sushi chefs, kitchen crew, and floor service colleagues for synchronized service delivery.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant service experience in Japanese restaurants, fine dining establishments, or luxury hospitality.
- Familiarity with Japanese culinary culture, omakase dining etiquette, and basic sake service is an advantage.
