Job Overview

The Nuggets Academy (TNA), an established education and tuition centre located at 620 Hougang Avenue 8, is seeking a creative, resourceful, and highly independent Social Media Content Creator specializing in Instagram Reels and short-form video production. Offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from $2,500 to $4,500 on a full-time executive basis, this dynamic role involves end-to-end content creation—from ideation, scripting using AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude), and on-ground filming of classes and teachers, to basic editing in CapCut and Canva design.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Ideation & Reels: Brainstorm and develop engaging ideas for Instagram Reels and short-form video content around education, tuition, parenting, student learning, and centre life. Keep up with social media trends, hooks, and formats.
• Scripting & AI Integration: Write compelling hooks, scripts, and interview prompts. Use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude comfortably for research, ideation, and script refinement while ensuring TNA's authentic voice.
• Filming & Production: Proactively capture on-the-ground footage of teachers, students, classes, events, and behind-the-scenes moments. Direct simple shoots, frame shots, capture clean audio, and manage B-roll.
• Basic Video Editing & Design: Utilize CapCut to produce simple Reels independently (trimming clips, adding subtitles, music, and basic transitions) and use Canva (10-20% of role) for stories, social graphics, and reel covers.

• Work Schedule: Dynamic and flexible working arrangements (approx. 40-44 hours per week), including occasional weekend work and varying days based on school shoots and centre activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in social media content creation, digital media, or creative video production (portfolio and practical ability prioritized).
• Deep familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and short-form video culture, trends, and content hooks.
• Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for creative ideation and scripting.
• Proficiency with CapCut for video editing and Canva for basic graphic design.
• Creative, independent, resourceful, meticulous, and comfortable working in a fast-paced education environment.
